What is the P-Shot?
The P-Shot is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) by injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the patient’s perineum. PRP is a concentrated form of blood containing platelets, which are responsible for clotting and healing wounds.
How it's used
Because PRP contains growth factors, it has been shown to increase cell growth and improve tissue regeneration. In the case of ED, this means that PRP can help to thicken the smooth muscle layer around the arteries that supply blood to the penis, thereby increasing blood flow and allowing for more firm erections.
